Roll-off dumpsters are now available for citywide use, located behind City Hall. Whether you’re tackling a home renovation or clearing out your garage. The dumpsters are for residents who pay their trash services to the City of Celeste. No outside city limit dumping allowed; dumpsters are under 24-hour surveillance. Do not pile items over the top rail of the dumpsters when they are full.
Acceptable Materials
- Household debris (e.g., furniture, clothing, toys)
- Yard waste (e.g., branches, leaves)
- Construction and renovation materials (e.g., drywall, wood, tiles)
- Non-hazardous commercial waste
Prohibited Items
- Hazardous materials (e.g., chemicals, paints, batteries)
- Electronic waste (e.g., TVs, computers)
- Tires
- Appliances containing refrigerants
Benefits of the Program
- Promotes a cleaner, more attractive city environment
- Reduces illegal dumping and littering
- Supports community-led beautification and cleanup efforts

This is to inform residents on Pearl, Locust, Elm, and Kingston streets that there will be a temporary water outage due to necessary repairs on a water leak in the area.
