Courtesy Notices for Water Utility Billing

Effective Monday, May 1, 2023, the City of Celeste will no longer post a courtesy notice at any residence for past due balances on water utility services. 

Water utility bills go out at the end of each month, the bills are due on or by the 10th to avoid any late fees.  After the 10th of the month, your account is considered past due.  Balances must be paid in full by 10 AM on the last Tuesday of the month to avoid disconneciton of your water utility services.  

Services will be reconnected only after all amounts owed, including any penalties or late fees, plus the following reconnect fees have been paid:
(1)During regular business hours the fee is $65.00
(2)During non-business hours the fee is $115.00
