Courtesy Notices for Water Utility Billing

Proposed Farmersville Municipal Development District Meeting Tonight

Notice:  Questions are being asked concerning a recent annexation by the City of Farmersville, along the path of a hike and bike trail through Hunt County between Farmersville and Celeste and the corresponding creation of a Municipal Development District (MDD), which will be up for a vote May 6, but in Collin and not Hunt County.  The annexation also has the effect of expanding the Farmersville Extra Territorial Jurisdiction (ETJ) one mile on either side of the trail.

Storm Damage Cleanup

We have brought in dumpsters to help assist our residents within the city limits with storm damage cleanup.  They are located on 2nd street on the backside of the City Shop.  Please do not put any hazardous materials, tires, motor oil, paint, herbicides, pesticides, freon, etc. into the dumpsters.

Please Do Not Flush These Items

To help assist us in keeping the sewer system flowing properly, we are asking all resisdents to please not flush the following items.  Sanitary products, cleaning wipes of any kind, paper towels, under garments, needles, disposable diapers, or grease.  This is an ongoing issue and causes the water flow to be clogged or significantly slowed down.
