Roll-off Dumpsters

The dumpsters were dropped off this morning behind City Hall for the residents within the city limits to use. No hazardous materials, tires, paint, or oils allowed. If you are disposing of boxes, please break them down. All items must be placed inside the dumpsters.
Celeste 1st Annual Christmas Pageant Winners Announced

The 1st Annual Celeste Christmas Pageant winners were crowned this morning. The winners were chosen by anonymous questionnaires submitted and reviewed by a resident of Celeste. Each winner chosen will have the opportunity to ride on the Mayor's float in tomorrow night's Christmas Parade. Congratulations to the following winners:

Due to increasing weather forecast of thunderstorms tomorrow, December 10th, the City of Celeste Christmas parade will be postponned to Saturday, December 17th at 6 PM.

Celeste Christmas Parade Weather Update

The Celeste Christmas Parade is scheduled for this Saturday, December 10th at 6:00 P.M. There will be an announcement made at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday by the Mayor in the event we will need to reschedule due to inclement weather. If rescheduled, the parade will be held on Saturday, December 17th at 6:00 P.M.

The dumpsters are located beside City Hall for your use through the weekend. You may dispose of bulk items, boxes, brush etc. Please do not leave items outside of the dumpsters.
NEW WATER BILL PAY SYSTEM

Good morning, the city launched a new water bill payment system this month through Nexbill Pay. You now have the option to sign up for paperless billing through email or text message. You can also enroll in our auto-pay system, if you haven't already.

The City of Celeste has partnered with Nexbillpay to extend an additional payment option for our customers interested in paying by check, debit or credit cards. Nexbillpay is a trusted third-party automated payment service that allows you to pay online.
BRUSH PILE

The brush pile just north of the football field is for the City of Celeste residents to discard brush and limbs only. Please do not put any other items; pallets, lumber, etc. into the burn pile. If this continues to happen, unfortunatley we will be forced to do away with the burn pile due to EPA Regulations.
CELESTE VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT IN NEED OF WATER/SPORTS DRINK DONATIONS

The Celeste Volunteer Fire Department is in desperate need of bottled water and/or sports drinks. These men and women volunteer their time to help protect our community, lets help them out by filling the shelves. Please drop off your donation at the Fire House or City Hall, we will make sure they get to them.
STREET LIGHT REPORTING

Chief Pell is working on marking street lights that are out or partially working throughout the town. If you have a street light out or partically working, please report it to the office at City Hall.
